Attorney Camisha Lemons
Camisha Lemons is a proud native Houstonian and the founding and managing attorney of The Law Office of Camisha Lemons, PLLC. Determined to be a change agent, she approaches every case with the belief that clients deserve both strong advocacy and thoughtful guidance. Camisha is committed to keeping her clients’ best interests at the forefront, empowering them to make clear and informed decisions about their legal rights and goals. Her firm focuses on Estate Planning, Guardianship, Probate and Business Law.
Camisha earned her Bachelor of Arts in Dance and Dance Education, with a minor in Government, from Texas Woman’s University in Denton. After a sabbatical during which she worked as a Campaign Strategist for various Houston City Council candidates, she pursued her Juris Doctor at the Thurgood Marshall School of Law at Texas Southern University.
Her dedication to excellence and service has earned her recognition as one of the National Black Lawyers Top 40 Under 40 and Houstonia Magazine’s Top Lawyers. She is an active member of the State Bar of Texas, Texas Bar College, and the Texas Probate Law American Inn of Court. In addition, Camisha serves on the Board of Directors for Victory in the Community CDC.
While her professional achievements are notable, Camisha defines herself by service rather than titles. Through her first love—dance—she creates opportunities for children to access arts education, fostering both skill and creativity. She serves in leadership roles within several ministries at her community church and volunteers with Virtuous Star, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to empowering young girls.
Balancing her legal practice with community engagement, Camisha is deeply invested in helping others thrive. In her free time, she enjoys being with her family, reading, dancing, and advocating for health and wellness.
